The latest update - Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak includes more than some new monsters to hunt. Daybreak adds more difficult hunts that players can participate in, a new kind of quest designed to make playing on your own more enjoyable, and overhauls the core Switch Skills system that combat is built upon. It's the result of a better experience that makes the game somewhat more accessible to those new to the game but also provides players with a ton of new options for combat that should make hunts even more enjoyable.

Earlier this week, Capcom provided ComicBook.com with an in-depth look at some of the new content in Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak. The trailer showed a team of hunters taking on the new monster Lunagaron and was followed by an individual hunter taking part in a new kind of Follower Quest. Lunagaron is a brand new type of monster in this Monster Hunter franchise that resembles a mix of a wolf and a dragon.

Lungaron looks to be the toughest game to play so it is why the Switch Skill system overhaul should prove beneficial. Prior to this players were able to switch a Switch Skill during hunts, customizing their weapons and giving them a range of different styles of play.

With Daybreak players can create two sets of Switch Skills and swap between them during fights. This allows players to try out a variety of combos and D2R Items for sale playstyles while fighting. It is also possible to use a Swap Evade when using the switch skill swap to avoid ill-timed monster attacks.
